We, the members of English 1A resolve to use the follow rules to guide
us.
1. We will be open-minded about ideas and not embarrassed about our ideas.
2. We
will keep bad, negative ideas inside ourselves and try to phrase any criticism nicely.
3. We
will try to have balanced, equal participation and effort.
4. We will show each other respect
and not interrupt the speaker.
5. We will be quiet if we arrive late.
6. We will introduce
ourselves again at the start of group work.
7. We will not chew gum in a loud, offensive
way.
8. We will help each other finish our work.
9. We will exchange phone numbers
if we feel comfortable doing so.
10. We will include everyone, and make sure we all
participate.
11. We will be on time.
12. We will put our pagers and phones on
vibrate.
13. We will pay attention and focus on the speaker.
